Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers.
- Stay updated on global oil and energy market trends, conducting research and analysis to identify business opportunities in bunker supply.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the international bunker business including ports, suppliers, owners, charterers, and relevant regulations.
- Utilize knowledge of oil market dynamics and marine fuel pricing strategies, along with an understanding of the maritime shipping industry.
- Create effective marketing materials to promote services and value propositions to both existing and potential customers.
- Manage the entire sales process including quoting, negotiating, confirming, delivery, and post-delivery support.
- Monitor customer credit lines, payment performance, and assist with collections if necessary.
- Handle disputes or claims resolution as needed.
- Assist in the training and development of junior staff and trainees.
- Adhere closely to company group policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sales/marketing role.
- Preference for candidates with a background in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly express ideas.
- Excellent analytical skills to analyze market trends and customer needs.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Organized with excellent follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
