We are looking for a Head of Development to help build and oversee our development teams here in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. The Head of Development will be responsible for managing and mentoring the development teams, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Responsibilities
- Build, Lead, and manage development teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with the product team, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
- Drive the development process, including architecture design, coding standards, code reviews, and testing methodologies.
- Implement best practices for software development, including Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Identify and address technical challenges, risks, and bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions to overcome them.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and industry best practices, and champion innovation within the development teams.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the development teams.
- Work closely with the CEO and other seniors to align development efforts with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, team performance, and key metrics to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a lead position.
- Extensive hands-on experience in .NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, Orleans & Kafka.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, MSSQL, and Entity Framework Core ensures seamless development
- Knowledge of front-end state management and Apollo GraphQL.
- Experience in working on a CMS and other SaaS products.
