- Strategic Sourcing: Identify and engage potential suppliers, manufacturers, and Principals in Asia and Europe for materials and equipment procurement across international operations.
- Negotiation and Purchasing: Conduct negotiations with suppliers for optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Implement purchasing agreements aligned with strategic goals.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers in Asia Pacific. Manage contracts and supplier performance for continuous supply.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Oversee procured item quality, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations. Address quality and compliance issues promptly.
- Market Analysis and Reporting: Stay updated on market trends and sourcing challenges in Asia Pacific. Provide reports on procurement activities and supplier performance.
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to understand material and equipment needs and align procurement strategies with operational requirements.
Requirements:
- Hold a Diploma in Purchasing or Supply Chain, or possess equivalent qualifications.
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing within the Marine or a related industry.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Possess a keen eye for detail and maintain a meticulous approach to work.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
