Responsibilities
- Work with a well-established customer base in the petrochemical | pharmaceutical | aviation, and OEM industries in Singapore
- Interpret customer requirements
- Understand industry standards and specifications
- Read customer drawings and generate bill of materials
- Formulate sales proposals and negotiate directly with end users to close orders
- Negotiate procurement of materials, parts, sub-contract services and logistics
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in an engineering discipline
- Working knowledge of industrial piping and related hardware
- Reward driven with a real desire to improve sales and business margins
- Work independently within a fast paced and collaborative environment
- Proficient with MS Excel
Advantages
The following optional skills or work experience would be an advantage
- Familiarity with ASME | DIN | JIS and similar material specifications
- Previous experience in a plant or on-site maintenance or engineering role
