The role of Digital and Tech Project Director at Digitas entails leading digital innovation and transformation projects for clients. This position requires a thorough understanding of Martech solutions and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, such as account management, data & technology, creative, and CX teams. The ideal candidate should also have experience in managing offshore project teams and third-party vendors. The Project Director will oversee multifaceted collaborations, ensuring alignment with Digitas' outcome standards and client objectives. This role is crucial in spearheading global teams and external partners to achieve Digitas' business objectives.
What you’ll do
- Cross-Functional Strategy Development: Collaborate with account management, data & technology, creative, and CX teams to develop integrated digital strategies that leverage martech for enhanced customer engagement and business growth.
- Lead Cross-Disciplinary Projects: Act as the linchpin in projects that require synchronized efforts from various departments, ensuring cohesion, clear communication, and a unified approach to client solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Foster strong, productive relationships with all internal stakeholders, facilitating open lines of communication and a shared vision for project goals, strategies, and outcomes.
- Holistic Client Solutions Development: Work closely with the data & technology team to understand the latest digital tools and analytics capabilities, with creatives to ensure brand and message consistency, and with the CX team to optimize customer journeys.
- Innovative Problem-Solving: Leverage the collective expertise of different teams to address complex client challenges, creating innovative solutions that are both technologically advanced and creatively compelling.
- Team Leadership and Integration: Lead by example to encourage a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across teams, ensuring all members are aligned with the project vision and client objectives.
- Enforce team compliance to high company standards and professionalism
- Knowledge Sharing and Continuous Improvement: Act as a conduit for sharing knowledge and best practices between teams, encouraging ongoing learning and adaptation to new digital trends and technologies.
- Drive Growth: Participate in new business RFI or RFP requests, when necessary, contribute to capability model definition and management and participate in team and cross-capability recruiting, interviewing, and staffing.
- Knowledge and upskilling: Attend training seminars and continuing education as offered
Day-to-day, your role includes:
- Being responsible for the direction, oversight and outcome of multiple accounts, programs, or processes.
- Problem-solving program and project issues; assisting teams in resolution and successfully leading large teams to develop risk mitigation plans
- Working with capability leads to understand business needs and helping identify and solving staffing-mix issues to meet business goals
- Working with clients to establish best practice processes that meet client business needs
- Demonstrating the ability to deliver constructive feedback while outlining and facilitating development plans where needed
