As the Strategy & Business Excellence Leader Growth Region for Image-Guided Therapy Systems (IGT-S), you will have the opportunity to work with an innovative product line – IGT Systems is part of Philips Image Guided Therapy Business Group. You will be involved in building a world-class organization and team across growth region, developing a breakthrough strategy to further expand our market share and leadership position and drive strategy and commercial execution with the 6 zones.


In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Drive strategy development and execution for the IGT Businesses in Growth Region in alignment with global IGT strategy team and IGT-S teams in the 6 growth region zones. Localize the BU strategy at zone level, and handshake ambitious but executable plans
  • Act as the “chief of staff” for IGT-S Growth Region; leading strategic planning, preparing and co-leading MT meetings, managing the MT growth region IGT-S agenda, and bringing together and uniting teams to drive strategy execution in Growth Region
  • Be the trusted advisor to market management team on commercial transformation
  • Under the guidance of the head of growth region IGT-S; lead the Sales Excellence program end-to-end for the IGT-S BU; see SI project charter for more details
  • Work across businesses, with other strategy and commercial excellence leaders, to ensure we continue to leverage G2M and other synergies and to ensure plans are aligned key stakeholders across Growth Region
  • Be the primary go-to person for the BU translating IGT-S commercial objectives to Growth region execution


You are responsible for

  • Developing strategic plans for growth region IGT-S overall, as well as for the 6 zones; in close alignment with the Head of Growth Region IGT-S and the zone IGT-S leaders
  • Own strategy execution of plans made; in close alignment with the IGT-S zone leaders
  • Own the growth region IGT-S performance dashboard (build out of the strategic plans); to be used in MPRs. E.g. maintaining KPIs and driving problem solving / deep-dives when KPIs are off track; in close cooperation with support of BPSE team
  • Lead the day-to-day program management of the Sales Excellence program for the IGT-S BU; under guidance of Head of Growth Region IGT-S
  • Co-develop, in close alignment with the IGT-S zone leaders and the Zone Sales leaders, strong G2M plans for the top 10 countries in Growth Region
  • Drive daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly commercial excellence with the zones and top 10 countries in Growth Region; incl. SFDC management and maintenance, win/loss assessments at different levels (vs competition, per clinical segment, per country, IB)
  • Supporting the zones by driving commercial insight generation around win/loss analysis, competitive win/loss, clinical segment performance, etc.
  • Pro-actively support strategy execution by delivering meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis on business performance, thereby supporting relevant stakeholders to make fact- based sound business decisions


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University Degree and 10+ years of industry experience
  • Experience in strategy and business excellence, preferably within the medical equipment or related industry
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of sales methodologies and CRM tools s.a. SFDC
  • Experience to work in a business with complex market/channel structures
  • Ability to identify and evaluate fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction
  • Experience as an integrator in a highly dynamic market and /or matrix organization
  • Ability to build and nurture effective relationships within the matrix by developing strong cooperation with peers within the region, cross business, and cross function
  • Customer intimacy: driven by a strong external focus understanding the industry and market dynamics.
  • Results oriented: take personal accountability to deliver results.
  • Skills in collaborating with and influencing multiple stakeholders.
  • Quality first mindset.
