Moët Hennessy Travel Retail works in close relationship with its Duty-Free partners to deliver unique brand experience at the Airports and Downtown stores across the world. In this highly dynamic environment, our team is dedicated to share and promote with passion the excellence of our Wines & Spirits portfolio. The Sales Director will lead the MH Travel Retail business in South East Asia and Australia & New Zealand, to develop the Moet Hennessy portfolio profitably and deliver outstanding value to our customers by driving sales and building brand image, delivering an outstanding brand statement and travelers’ experience.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Key Account Management
- Develop business strategy to meet sales, value market share and profitability goals for SEA & ANZ
- Develop & nurture outstanding partnerships with both operators to support growth plans within markets
- Drive joint business plans with key stakeholders of each travel retail operators and align on short mid, long term development plans
- Manage negotiations of commercial terms, assortment, visibility, investments, marketing plans for MH portfolio, agreements and partnerships with customers and ensure the highest quality of local implementation
Business & Retail Performance
- Manage and control the budget by brand and by Market; closely monitor retail prices and competitor's activities
- Prepare business review presentations and forecasts to achieve agreed profit and financial goals
- Ensure consumer-centric delivery of our brands in all channels
Brand & Marketing
- Partner with Marketing & Retail to drive planning of all marketing initiatives, with a strong shopper/ digital focus, to engage travelers across multiple platforms
- Propose and implement brand plan and strategies by Market for each brand
- Identify and negotiate marketing opportunities with operators to drive sales
Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in Luxury, Perfume & Cosmetics, Wines & Spirits, or FMCG Industry
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the Travel Retail Channel with Global International accounts
- Thorough understanding of luxury goods industry and duty-free environment
- Experienced in managing P&L, budgeting, business management and analysis
- Has built and led a regional team given large geographical and cultural differences
- Strong communication, negotiation and people management skills
- Has ability to progress several divergent projects at the same time and manage well
- Has ability to develop clear high level business presentations
- Highly motivated individual, energetic, team-builder with strong inter-personal skills
- Strong influencing skills, has ability to manage several stakeholders with cultural sensitivity
- Commercially and strategically savvy, hands-on
- Customer-oriented & results-driven
- Willing to travel up to 20-30% of the time
