COMO Metropolitan Singapore is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Front Office and Housekeeping Intern. This hybrid internship is designed to provide exposure to both front office operations and housekeeping management, offering a comprehensive understanding of guest services and room maintenance within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Office:
- Guest Services Support: Assist in providing exceptional guest services including check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries.
- Reservation Management: Aid in managing reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the booking process.
- Assist in Administrative Tasks: Support the front office team with administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Learn Front Office Systems: Familiarize yourself with property management systems and other front office software.
Housekeeping:
- Room Inspection: Assist in conducting room inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Support in managing housekeeping supplies and inventory.
- Assist in Housekeeping Operations: Learn about housekeeping procedures and assist the team in daily operations as needed.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with the housekeeping team to maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the property.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude towards learning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
