Audit Executive

Responsibilities:

1. Audit

  • Perform statutory audit under Singapore Audit Standard.
  • Manage engagements and ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
  • Manage audit engagement timeline.
  • Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners.
  • Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating audit partners/managers on progress.
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties, when assigned.


2. Accounting

  • Manage multiple accounting assignments for clients’ companies.
  • Handle full sets of accounts, prepare management accounts (including P&L, BS, General Ledger, Trial Balance etc.).
  • Asist with the preparation of XBRL.
  • Prepare unaudited financial reports. Ensure the financial reports are in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Company Act and corporate accounting policies.
  • Assist with the preparation of Tax Computation, filing of Corporate Tax Return, GST Return, Withholding Tax, Personal Income Tax etc.
  • Liaise with IRAS, auditors, corporate secretary, government authorities and other stakeholders when necessary.
  • Maintaining communication with clients, team members and managers, sharing responsibility and providing support.
  • Completes tasks efficiently, meeting all deadlines and with minimal supervision.
  • Assists in ad-hoc projects or duties when necessary.


Job Requirements:

  • A recognised degree in Accountancy and professional accounting qualifications such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience in accounting firm or equivalent
  • A strong understanding of technical skills, specifically in SFRS/IFRS and SSA/ISA.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent business acumen
  • Strong team leadership & people management skills.
  • Proactive and have a positive attitude towards challenges.
  • The ability to adapt to changes in technology and able to work independently.
