Responsibilities:
- Ensure local suppy chain team alignment with NPP business priorities, initiatives and activities, and the DELIVERY of performance to agreed KPI levels throuh overseeing and monitoring the planning activities of each Market. Drives service through optimized working capital levels at market level
- Drives Supply Chain performance and process improvement / simplification initiatives (Region and Market level) e.g. Logistics Call to Arm (LC2A), IBO, SAS usage improvement; MRP accuracy; air freight reduction, stock cover optimization, sourcing transition plans to ensure COF, Bad Goods improvement.
- Support establishment of OMP by collaborating with regional, market and factory supply chain teams.
- Lead and guide Demand analysis in the region to establish mid and long-term statistical forecast for Region, Category and Markets, including appropriate data flow and statistical methods, and interacting/supporting business users. Actively supports the Long Term Demand Plans for 2-5 years for establishing base-line.
- Lead and guide Supply analysis in the region to develop advanced analytics, optimization tools and capabilities that can deliver step change benefits for business results. Support and collaborate business users to have standardized and automated reporting and analysis to drive improvements in operations and business KPIs. Actively supports the Strategic Capacity Planning for 2-5 years for sourcing/CAPEX decisions.
- Lead and support continuous improvements projects and drive excellence in supply chain processes. Supports teams to deliver sustainable improvements providing actionable and relevant insight through data analysis, delivering or assisting in workshops/induction training and actively involved with problem solving or improvement projects"
- Lead preparation for Regional MAR/NPP AOA MOR/NiM MOR or MAR/Zone TP by collaborating with regional and NiM DSP/Factory teams. Ensure usage of standard reporting and analytics tools and dashboards.
- Ensure all issues are reported and captured actions are executed timely (include escalations from NiM).
- Ensure full alignment and synchronization of data across different reviews.
- Develop NPP Regional People Competency Matrix for all positions guided by global matrix and job charters. Conduct assessment by collaborating with team leads and identify gaps. Establish robust plan, conduct trainings and track development plan.
- Act as first point of contact on D&SP issues for markets, factories and region. Provide expert D&SP guidance on all topics and escalate issues to the appropriate people in the NiM's, IT, Zone or Corporate teams. Act as a bridge between Zone, Region, GSBU and Market to ensure markets get the support needed to perform. Bring category specific requirements and knowledge to local DSP teams in the markets.
- Instill a high performance culture within the Team to be always looking for the continuous improvement of the D&SP, Customer Supply Chain, Logistics and IMS end-to-end process (i.e. planning, transportation lead times, freshness, etc.) as well as regular assessments on process and practices - identifying areas to improve at market and regional level
Requirements:
- 8 years or more relevant operational experience at market/business level is required
- Relevant & successful operational experience at market / business level, in at least four of the following areas: Demand & Supply Planning, Inter-market Supply, Customer Supply Chain, Distribution Operations, Warehousing, Transportation, Procurement, Sales, Key Account Management, Customer Channel Sales Development, Marketing, Finance (Business Planning / Dynamic Forecasting, Experience in Project work and Project Management
- Experience working outside of home market, experience in dealing/working with 3rd party service providers
- Experience in dealing/working with/for Customers or Suppliers (Distributors, Retailers, Suppliers, etc.), experience in LEAN deployments.
