Job Responsibilities:
- Address customer inquiries and generate quotations as needed.
- Organize and coordinate import and export logistics operations.
- Communicate with international agents to ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to oversee cargo handling and movement activities such as receipt and delivery.
- Manage customs procedures by providing instructions to customs brokers.
- Maintain regular communication with vendors, shippers, customers, carriers, and international agents.
- Ensure accurate documentation for billing, invoicing, and file closure post-shipment.
- Coordinate door-to-door shipments, including transhipments, for both imports and exports.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute shipment strategies and address ad-hoc requirements.
- Generate airway bills and handle booking arrangements.
- Arrange transportation logistics.
- Utilize Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems for efficient data exchange.
- Manage Customer Carrier Notes (CCN) efficiently.
Job Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of working experience as customer service in freight industry
- Experience in Air freight operations processes (1 years of relevant working experience)
- CargoWise Knowledge is an added advantage
- Possess valid DG Certificate is an added advantage
- Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
