Assistant Relationship Manager (Financial Analysis, KYC, Corporate Clients) (7k + VB)

Core Function:

  • Assist Corporate RMs (hereinafter, “RMs”):
  • Preparation of Credit recommendation for Corporate accounts (hereinafter, “customers”)
  • KYC preparation for new Corporate accounts and reviews
  • Liaison with Operations for Corporate account transactions
  • New customer onboarding and account opening
  • Preparation of any internal reports
  • Attend to customers on an ad-hoc basis

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in preparing customers financial spread sheets in Credit Lens, financial analysis, data input for RORC, ROCE and ECL, related parties searches and environmental risk analysis for the CR Package.
  2. Assist in reviewing customers financial spread sheets and financial analysis and provide constructive comments to ensure compliance and risk addressing.
  3. Promotes inter-department/branch cross-selling of products and networking.
  4. Assist in exploring for new opportunities and tracking new projects in MENA countries and refer to CIB Head for necessary action.
  5. Attend business calls with RMs and prepare call reports.
  6. Liaise with operations department to ensure seamless implementation of customers transactions
  7. Assist RMs in preparation of KYC package (including preparing the KYC/CIS/CRS forms and updating Database and collecting the necessary documentation) preparation for new customers and reviews.
  8. Assist RMs in new customer onboarding and account opening process.
  9. Assist RMs in transaction and legal documentation.
  10. Preparation of any internal reports.
  11. Support RMs as required, in execution of transactions (trade, syndicated loans etc.).
  12. Attend to customers on ad hoc basis.
  13. Assist CIB Head/RMs in preparation for Budget.
  14. Provide a backup for RMs during their absence.
  15. Comply with all the internal policies and procedures as well as the relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Possess a degree in Finance / Accountancy / Business Administration or related fields
  • 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Sound knowledge in banking products
  • Good credit and marketing skills
