- Receiving, recording and processing all incoming marine and aviation insurance claims
- Interpreting policies and determining the coverage of claims made, escalating issues as needed.
- Settlement of claims within the stipulated timeframe and KPI’s.
- Managing claims recoveries.
- Respond to clients' requests in accordance with service standards.
- Liaising with all stakeholders i.e. Accounts Department, Underwriting Dept, Brokers, Agents
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements at all times.
- Maintaining current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes and modifications
- Any other duties assigned by HOD or reporting authority.
REQUIREMENTS
- ‘A’ Level or diploma in any one of the following disciplines: Business, Economics, Insurance or Law
- Minimum 2 years of Non-Life Insurance Claim handling experience. Candidate with 5+ years of relevant experience can be considered for more senior position. Candidate with no prior experience can be considered.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities, written and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Work independently as well as a team player and self-motivated.
