Astek is offering a role of Solution Architect for our projects based in Singapore.
Summary: responsible for developing reference architecture, solution architecture, related standards, architecture patterns and partnering with IT and business stakeholders to create business values across the value chain.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer business needs, expectations, and constraints.
- Participate in workshops to translate opportunities into product components.
- Familiarize with enterprise architecture and practices.
- Establish and maintain a strong network with key stakeholders.
- Analyze and evaluate existing architecture, suggesting upgrades and solutions for both cloud and on-premise platforms.
- Design solutions that meet business requirements, enabling product development and growth through proof-of-concept.
- Utilize new partners and technologies to create innovative and competitive solutions.
- Ensure compatibility, interoperability, stability, and usability of recommended solution architecture.
- Support the team in business proposals and perform systems modeling, simulation, and analysis for solution soundness.
- Analyze the impact of solutions on client business processes and systems to mitigate risks.
- Design and implement technical roadmaps for solution development.
- Establish new development and production environments for development teams.
- Assist in end-to-end development, testing, and implementation of solutions.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with solution implementation.
- Promote continuous improvement in design processes and approaches.
- Analyze functionality and constraints of recommended solutions across various systems.
- Develop architectural frameworks for innovative products.
- Provide support to clients in resolving technical issues.
- Contribute to the innovation strategy by building industry expertise and providing insights.
- Recommend the adoption of new technologies to enhance existing solutions.
- Scout and test new solutions in the market.
- Expand the innovation station ecosystem through local partnerships and open R&D projects
Requirements:
Mandatory
- Engineering or master’s degree in data, computer science & information systemsMandatory:
- 5 to 10 years in IT and/or digital companies or software or startups
- Extensive practice of data and software architecture design and development
- Experience of data modelling
- Experience in MLOps and DevOps including docker and ansible
- Experience with git and release management
- Demonstrable skills in customer-centric approach
- Data-oriented person with analytical mind and business acumen
- Knowledgeable on agile practices.
- Great communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in working in a fast-paced team culture.
- Proven track record for designing stable solution, testing and debugging.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
- Proven capabilities with worldwide teams
- Fluent English. French is a plus
Desirable / Advantageous
- Experience working in Innovation / R&D team on new product development with fast tracking development.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Good understanding of the Apache open source ecosystem
- Experience with AIML and Big Data technologies like – Jupyter Notebook, Hadoop, PySpark, HIVE
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Vector databases is good to have
- Experience with common data science toolkits, such as TensorFlow, KERAs, PyTorch, PANDAs, Microsoft CNTK, NumPy etc. Deep expertise in at least one of these is highly desirable.
