Clinical Roles
- Conduct physiotherapy/ occupational therapy treatment for residents at centre/home according to prescribed treatment plan
- Work closely with the centre/home staff nurse for the conduct of individual and/or group therapy programme for residents
- Set up treatment area and equipment for therapists
- Assist therapists in carrying out interventions programe
- Conduct group exercise/ therapy sessions for the residents at the centre/ home
- Keep good records of all services performed and submit regular activity reports and daily statistics to the therapists
Resource Management
- Maintain and upkeep a proper inventory control with regular inspection and audits
- Maintain all equipment used and the tidiness of the rehabilitation area at the end of each session
- Carry out routine disinfection and cleaning of equipment
- Prepare monthly statistics and billing as per requirement
- Check and replenish rehab and treatment supplies
Clinical Quality and Safety
- Participate in delivering consistent and excellent clinical and service quality to residents and sponsors
- Responsible for the clinical quality of all residents guided by the set key performance indicators
- Participate in the implementation of quality improvement project(s) in the centre(s) initiated by therapists
- Assist in the conduct of clinical audits as and when instructed by supervisor
- Assist in the investigation of any clinical incidents
Feedback Management
- Assist in any investigation pertaining to complaints received
- Escalate any unfavorable and unresolved feedback to HQ
Other Duties
- Assume any other additional responsibilities as assigned by HOD and Manager, Rehab
- Maintain good communication skills with residents and sponsors
Requirements
- Minimum GCE āOā / āNā Level with WSQ Certificate in Therapy Services, or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services; or Work-study Technical Diploma in Rehabilitation Care
- Candidates with diploma/certificate in Sport Science Management/ Exercise Science/Exercise training will be considered
- Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy from non-recognised institutions
- Having working experience in a healthcare setting will be an added advantage
- Have an interest in providing rehab to the elderly and/or mental health care preferred
- Applicants must be willing to travel across Singapore
