Job Scope:
- Design and develop an extract, transform, load (ETL) ingestion & transformation using Azure Data Bricks (Pyspark - Notebooks) & Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Design and implement a data storage solution using Azure Data Lake.
- Migrate on-prem SQL data warehouse to Azure Synapse (Azure SQL DW).
- Engage and collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Involve in data modeling and designing the solution for entire Business Intelligence Warehouse.
- Design and develop PowerBI ad-hoc reports, paginated reports, and dashboards.
Job Qualifications:
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Solutioning and hands-on experience in Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory or similar toolset
- Proficient with visual data tools like Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau
- Basic knowledge of DB2, MSSQL, cloud infrastructure and security
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving data migration issues (e.g. perform analysis of logs to determine ETL failure and provide resolution; perform analysis of data reconciliation breaks and provide resolution; tuning scripts to improve performance)
- Experience in managing data cleansing activities, analysis, tracking, and stakeholder management
- Experience in integrating data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements
- Demonstrable professional experience in data mining, analysis and modeling of large-scale complex data sets
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Client consulting and technical leadership experience
