Position Objective and Summary
- Generate new business and manage existing customer relationships in the waste management industry
- Achieve sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction through the development of strategic plans and effective communication with clients.
Main tasks /Activities / Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling.
- Generate sales leads and build relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the waste management industry and its products and services.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure customer service excellence through timely resolution of customer issues.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to network and generate leads.
Job requirements (education, linguistic ability, professional experience, leadership qualities, soft skills etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in waste management sales or related field.
- Good interactions and negotiation skill and presentable looking
- Having own transportation is preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the waste management industry and its products and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
