Key responsibilities:
As the Project Manager, you will assume full profit and loss (P/L) responsibility for project execution. Your role involves ensuring the completion of financial scopes and projects within specified schedules and meeting customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will oversee your team and subcontractors based on Semco Maritime's managerial values.
- Adhering to the project process model
- Taking overall responsibility for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with all aspects (schedules, timelines, budget control, execution, completion, handover)
- Managing the P&L of the project to maintain or improve margins
- Overseeing engineering and reviewing documentation in assigned projects
- Establishing and maintaining client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related matters, especially those concerning finances and deadlines
- Supervising purchases and ensuring adherence to project costs, ensuring quality and compatibility
- Upholding good Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices
- Providing project financial figures (payment/invoice forecasts, etc.) to the Finance department
- Prioritizing project-related tasks and assigning duties to project engineers
- Keeping track of Work in Progress (WIP) in assigned projects
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Department Manager
Job Requirements:
Experience with telecom projects and yard/offshore work would be an advantage. Moreover, you are able to handle all commercial aspects when cooperating with customers. You see the big picture and address finance, HSEQ, and management and customer requests determinedly and with experience.
Effective communication skills.
- Bachelor of Engineering within Telecommunication and Electronic Engineering or other relevant background.
- You have at least 5 years of international experience as a Project Manager.
- Industrial experience – yard and/or offshore.
