Brief: This role requires the candidate
- to partly cover for another existing full-time employee who is going on maternity leave. Specifically, the candidate will need to oversee the RFP responsibilities
- to partially also help the investment analyst with certain tasks
The successful candidate would join 4-6 weeks prior to the employee commencing maternity leave, to ensure proper training / handover of the tasks and processes.
Responsibilities and Job Scope
1. Complete ownership of all RFPs
- Working extensively with the vendor to fulfil any RFP requests that come from the UTI sales teams in all regions
- Coordinating with the vendor to ensure accuracy of every answer to the RFP questions
- Writing a large part of the content independently using internal sources
- Coordinating with internal teams / the relevant departments across both Singapore and India offices (e.g Investment team, HR, Risk Team, Compliance, Product) to ensure that the required information is obtained in a timely manner, to answer the RFPs.
- Regular review and revisions, of the draft RFP documents produced by the vendor
- Meeting deadlines demanded by multiple RFPs and ensuring proper time management
- Providing advance notice to relevant departments, giving them enough notice to respond to requests. And then feeding those data / materials to the vendor
- Conducting final checks on the RFPs and revising content if necessary to ensure accuracy and relevance
2. Ensuring monthly and quarterly Platforms Updation
- Sending vendor relevant data and material so the vendor can update investment platforms with correct information of UTI’s fund strategies
- Conducting sanity checks with the vendor, to ensure the data is visible for investors
3. Investment related tasks – to assist the Investment Analyst
- Preparation and updation of monthly product decks, one-pagers and other marketing material
- Computation of financial ratios and preparation of commentaries for Equity Funds
- Respond to general client queries about equities, Indian economy, etc.
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Either: minimum 2 years prior experience in writing investment RFPs, or; Completed degree or currently studying for a finance degree or related discipline (knowledge of investments / different asset classes, the asset management industry, or fund products, would be preferred)
- Flair for writing and content assimilation
- Ability to work with different teams and communicate clearly
- Exceptional time management and project management skills
- Ability to work with multiple deadlines and track progress
- Self starter and takes initiative
