The Manager, of Project Engineering’s responsibilities include various engineering coordinating tasks and handling queries from/to consortium partners, project owners, owner’s consultants, competent engineers for Singapore local codes and regulations, and project stakeholders with all the related JEL's project teams. The Manager of project Engineering should have the capability to discuss technical issues, a responsibility for Singapore's local codes and regulations for execution projects.
• Plan and manage the execution of multi-discipline design projects including preliminary engineering, detailed design, and procurement.
• Ensure that Engineering work is performed according to procedures and processes, within the timeframe, according to the budget, and the quality level expected
• Act as the focal point for the communication with the client in all techno-commercial matters. Also, ensure that the engineering and procurement have been carried out according to the industry's best practices, international codes and standards, and client specifications.
• Prepare and deliver various engineering and procurement-related presentations both internally and externally.
• Review and recommend or approve POs, sub-contracts, and cost estimates.
• Manage risks associated with engineering and procurement activities
• Develop, document, implement & deliver Engineering Execution methods in in-line with Company strategy.
• Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes and the entire engineering team on track.
