Job Descriptions
- Supervise two children (ages 9 and 7) when they return home from school
- Remind children to follow their schedule for classes and complete homework (note: children do not need academic help with homework)
- Arrange transportation for children to go to class (Grab, grandfather, driver) and accompany children to class if needed
- Coordinate with landlord and/or workers for home repairs
- Receive packages and deliveries
- Oversee domestic helpers (purchase their food, assign work to helpers, manage payroll and rest days)
- Assist parents in home-school communication, handle school emails, complete tasks assigned by the school to parents, choose extracurricular classes, effect feedback and teacher communication, translation, etc.
- Treat all children with dignity and respect and allow for individual differences.
- Provide an atmosphere of acceptance and caring for each child and show as much individual attention as possible to each child.
- Be familiar with and adhere to the programme policies, health and safety regulations and emergency procedures and be ready to implement these if necessary.
Job Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in the industry
- Must be comfortable with technology (phone and computer in case something has to be printed)
- Computer literacy required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently
- Passion and patience to work with children
- Must complete 1-month trial before getting full-time offer
Location: Peirce Road
Working hours: 2pm - 8pm on Sunday, 3pm-5pm on weekdays
Salary: Negotiable, depends on previous experience, can pay hourly, weekly or monthly
