Our client is a leading insurance and reinsurance brokerage company headquartered in Singapore, serving clients across Asia and beyond. They specialize in providing risk management solutions and insurance brokering services to diverse range of clients across various industries.
They are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Direct Insurance Broker to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and providing them with comprehensive insurance solutions tailored to their needs.
Job Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through direct sales and marketing activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and requirements.
• Provide clients with advice and guidance on insurance products and services and recommend appropriate coverage levels.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients and negotiate terms and conditions with insurers on their behalf.
• Manage and monitor client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Work closely with insurance underwriters to secure the best terms and coverage for clients.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of client information and insurance policies.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and product developments, and share knowledge with clients and colleagues.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, Finance or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the insurance brokerage industry, with a focus on direct insurance.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and services, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best terms and coverage for clients.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple clients and policies simultaneously.
• Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
