As a Futures & Options Associate, you will be part of a team that manages JP Morgan's global exchange traded futures and options brokerage business. F&O provides investors and hedgers access to exchange traded listed derivatives throughout the world. F&O acts solely as the clients agent on brokerage transactions, and never as principal.

Job responsibilities
• Knowledge of the products and the exchange rules covered by the team and is aware of the functions of the global business
• Regional Exchange Clearing is performed in accordance with local regulatory requirements
• All positions are maintained accurately both at the exchange and within the internal clearing system
• All trade and position breaks are escalated and resolved on trade date + 1
• All exercise and assignment notices are correctly processed as per the published deadlines
• He/she should be aware of the appropriate escalation procedures when issues are raised
• Reviews and checks production output from a control aspect
• Processes are reviewed regularly and where possible make suggestions for greater efficiency
• Any ad hoc requests of the team are dealt with in an appropriate manner
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Derivative Operations within the banking industry is required
• Knowledge in Listed Derivatives product (Futures & Options)-
• Ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately, whilst remaining focused on 'the big picture'
• Excellent Client focus and Customer care working practices
• Flexible attitude towards working hours due to the demands of the working place
• Strong intellectual curiosity for process improvements
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work accurately and effectively under pressure
• Strong time management skills required to meet the many internal and external deadlines
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Prior experience in OTC Clearing / FXPB is highly desirable (preferably of Asia markets knowledge would be an added advantage)
