Job Description & Requirements
Prepare, plan and schedule of work sequences for construction operations as per construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements.
Liaise with consultants, client and sub-contractors and coordinate for site activities arrangements.
Perform site inspection and ensure that the work are carried out based on the project specification and construction drawing/final approved drawing from authorities. ·
Monitoring work progress and ensure that civil contracted works meet all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality and contract target completion. ·
Ensure all structural work is carried out within established budgets and schedules. ·
Manage internal and external contractors well to ensure quality of work and scope of work is within specifications. ·
Responsible for all inspection activities being carried out. ·
Assist the project manager in the daily coordination, planning and execution of the project plan site.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly site work progress ·
Adherence to safety practices in the workplace and ensure compliances to standard rules and regulations. ·
BBS production and delivery monitoring and prepare RTO allocation for inspection, concrete booking and materials requisition.
Review drawing and design drawing issue monitoring ·
Handling technical and engineering problems on site. ·
To facilitate project meetings and prepare minutes of meeting
- Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
- Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
- Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.
- Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.
- Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.
- Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
- Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.
- Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
