Your role

Are you a good at multitasking? Are you solid as a rock when you’re juggling among multiple projects? Do you enjoy solving problems? We are looking for a Business Risk Specialist who has experience in the area of Investment Suitability to help us to:

– develop and assess business risk and markets impact of proposed solutions to comply with both local regulatory and global Investment Suitability and migration requirements

– provide clear and concise documentation of processes and business requirements for client migration

- work with IT to implement required system enhancements and perform testing to ensure quality of delivery

- syndicate proposed changes with internal stakeholders and implement required process changes

= perform validation of records pre and post migration to ensure outcomes are in line with expectation

- drive and track remediation activities to ensure completion within the required deadlines

- communicate progress to key business partners in a timely manner

- prepare training materials to client facing team for key changes

Your team

You’ll be working with the Investment Suitability Framework team under the Investment Suitability Competence Center. We are responsible for front-to-bank (analysis, process design, and eventual implementation of both pre-trade and ex-post controls) implementation of the IS framework to ensure that the business in SG and HK adheres to both local regulatory Investment Suitability requirements, as well as to the UBS Global Suitability Framework.

Your experience and skills

You have:

– worked in a similar position before

– business analysis or project management experience in the area of Wealth management, preferably in Investment suitability or Investor protection.

– strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out)

- Strong Excel and Power Point skills

You are:

– a strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable with interacting with stakeholders at all levels

– a flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude who can also work independently as an individual contributor

– known for hitting deadlines and solving problems

- a structured and logical thinker, who is detailed and meticulous
