Job Description:
· Manage and execute operational tasks related to IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
· Perform deployment activities, including software installation, configuration changes, and system updates/patches.
· Ensure the security and stability of IT systems by applying patches, security updates, and conducting vulnerability assessments.
· Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime and maintain optimal system functionality.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and automation strategies.
· Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
· Proven experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), network protocols, and server hardware.
· Understanding of security principles and best practices, including patch management and vulnerability assessment.
· Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) to automate tasks and streamline operations.
· Ability to assist with troubleshooting issues and propose resolutions.
· Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical stakeholders.
