Your primary responsibility is to prepare technical and cost proposals based on customers' requirements and manage projects life-cycle until project handover to customers.
- Confer with sales team to understand customers' requirements from technical aspect and attend customers’ meetings on proposal/technical clarifications
- Prepare technical proposals and coordinate with third party vendors or internal factories to obtain technical quotations to meet overall standards and customers' requirements
- Create specifications and work on detailed engineering design
- Review design documents from third party vendors or internal factories to ensure projects compliance with specifications and industrial safety standards
- Coordinate with customers and to obtain design documents approval
- Work closely with customers, third party vendors or internal factories on project timeline and follow through project status to ensure deliverables meeting schedule and cost from conceptualization to the site commissioning stage
- Regularly update the Head of Engineering on the project status report
Job Requirements:-
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering or Project Management. Working experience in Drive Control System is preferred
- Must have good knowledge in Low Voltage (LV) /Medium Voltage (MV) electrical conceptual design, single line diagram and control schematic diagram
- Knowledge in Drive Control System - LV/MV motors and variable speed drives, PLC and switchgear will be an added advantage
- Knowledge in Electrical cabinet design will be an added advantage
- Familiar with Local and IEC standards
- Computer proficiency in Autocad, Words, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
- Customer oriented
- Exhibit good collaboration with various internal stakeholders and external vendors on tech-commercial issues
- Highly adaptable, self-motivated, team player and take ownership at work
- Able to travel within the region on business needs
- Able to perform on-site work as project manager
