OBJECTIVE:
§ To exponentially grow IDEX Energy business in SEA by
o Providing highly skilled technical support, service and training to customers related to the various products and applications.
o Resolving the complex technical support issues in all applications within the markets.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
§ Develop technical relationships with distributors and end-users. Develop a deeper understanding of common failures and typical commissioning support required. Be proficient in handling technical enquiries both pre-sales and post sales.
§ Provide technical support for customers, including repairs and calibrations of equipment. Troubleshoot equipment and system failures. Provide on-site service and training as required.
§ Continued to develop high level business relationships with and cater to the needs of all customers with focus on 80 customers.
§ Assist as needed with daily departmental responsibilities and tasks and ensure technical support/customer follow up are at the forefront focus.
§ Document customer complaints and follow problems through to resolution while ensuring root cause analysis provides appropriate sustainable countermeasure(s).
§ Follow all Energy department and corporate policies, procedures and instructions. Be knowledgeable on safety procedures around the handling of hazardous materials.
§ Any other tasks or duties as assigned by the Manager.
Education Level, Specialized knowledge and experience, Training/Certifications:
· Degree in mechanical, electrical or Instrumentation or related.
· At least 5 years of experience in Flow measurement & related technologies/solutions.
· Regional experience in SEA
