Responsibilities:
- Patrol lobby, guest room corridors, back of house areas, public areas and surroundings to detect any suspicious personnel. Keep an eye on any unattended luggage or belongings.
- Conduct investigations and keep hotel Management informed regarding accidents such losses, theft etc.
- Accompany the Duty Manager whilst investigating irregularities in guest rooms and public areas when required.
- Ensure wherever possible that employees are provided with a work place free of discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
- Record details of significant incidents and activities that may occur during the shift
- Coordinate investigations with the Police regarding crimes, accidents involving hotel guests and ambassadors
- Ensure Security Checkpoint/Office is manned, clean and tidy at all times.
Key Job Requirements
- Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
- Minimum of 2 year(s) of experience in a similar capacity with proven track records
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Security related certification required
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
