Workshop Service Technician with experience servicing Downhole drilling tools (Jar, intensifier, Coil Tubing tools, Motor, Shock tool, agitator etc.) or hydraulic or mechanically operated equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Fully competent in servicing hydraulic/mechanically operations tools.
- Experience with servicing NOV downhole drilling tools will be added advantage.
- Prepare tools for inspection/cleaning
- Prepare load-out tools for field
- Unload tools from field & check tool return
- Prepare service report after service or repair
- Prepare damage report
- A recognized performer who is sought out for technical expertise by peers
- Able to understand tool drawings
- Ability to take measurements with various measuring equipment
- Follow 5S implementation of workshop
- Report on weekly basis (Tools availability list) and on monthly basis
- Ad-hoc activities as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements
- GCE ‘O’/ ITE Certificate in Technical or Mechanical or equivalent
- Min 2 years experience in servicing Downhole tools in oil & gas industry is advantageous
- Basic English communication (verbal and writing)
- Experience with computer in MS office and email is desired (for completing service reports)
- Positive attitude, meticulous, self-driven, good interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a team
