Position: General Ledger Accountant
Location: Central
Salary: Up to $4500
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity of the General Ledger (GL) and facilitate the timely closing of accounts.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc journal entries for monthly closing processes.
- Conduct fixed asset depreciation and amortization runs and maintain schedules.
- Reconcile fixed assets, conduct taggings/sightings where applicable.
- Handle intercompany transactions/entries and perform bank reconciliations, including accounting for bank charges.
- Compute and prepare management fees and tax provisions.
- Prepare and maintain audit schedules, including staff reimbursement transactions/entries.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments as required.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong team-player with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently within tight timelines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
