Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This role reports to the Group Finance Manager, with the following responsibilities:
· Timely and accurate monthly preparation of consolidated accounts, financial and management reporting in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
· Assist in the preparation of SGX announcements
· Assist in of the preparation of the Group annual report, including sustainability report
· Support in the preparation of the Board reporting pack for Board Meetings
· Assist in the preparation of group financial forecasts and annual budgets
· Review reporting packages from subsidiaries in accordance with SFRS
· Preparation of monthly variance analysis and commentaries on the financial performance
· Liase with external stakeholders including company secretaries, auditors, etc.
· Assist in the maintenance of strong internal controls and the integrity of the accounting system
· Assist in the review of process flows for future improvements and assist in the implementation of such improvements
· Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by corporate HQ
Qualifications:
· Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications
· At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements
· Strong technical knowledge of IFRS/ SFRS and consolidation
· Strong Excel, Powerpoint and other Microsoft Office skills
· Attention to details and with strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent prioritization and time management skills
· Experience in a listed company a plus
· Audit experience is a plus
