Your Role
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Solution Engineer who is well versed in virtualized infrastructure and storage infrastructure.
What Will You Do
- To deploy, configure, manage, and maintain virtualized infrastructure like VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- To create documentation and quickly identify trends
- To perform root cause analysis and recommend possible solutions.
- To do network, hardware and software troubleshooting related issues.
- To serve as primary contact and support maintenance resource for customers.
- To perform required maintenance during off hours and support 24x7 operations.
- To present and introduce solutions and services to highlight value add.
What Do We Want
- At least a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Programming, or similar.
- Must have working experience and knowledge in Linux.
- Experience in deploying, troubleshooting and support in Linux and Red Hat.
- Experience in deploying, troubleshooting and support in VMware, HDS, HPE, Dell, EMC, Lenovo, IBM.
- Knowledge of server systems, storage systems, virtualization technologies and networking.
- Knowledge of data centre route/switch technology, backup/recovery in a virtual environment.
- Understanding of active directory architecture, DNS administration.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong coordination and project skills.
- Strong customer experience mindset, listening, understanding and responding to customer needs.
- Assess and evaluate current virtual computing infrastructure, and provide recommendations for enhancements.
