Our client is one of biggest Oil & Gas companies in the world, and they are looking for hire a Claims and Demurrage Executive under their trading desk
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and handle demurrage risks for product trading and voyages.
- Review and negotiate demurrage payments with counterparts.
- Calculate demurrage for prompt submission to stakeholders.
- Chase timely payments and track outstanding claims.
- Collaborate with cargo operators for organized claims documentation.
- Prepare regular demurrage status reports and monthly accruals.
- Coordinate with contract desk for smooth contract management, including delivery, laytime, and demurrage terms.
- Verify and approve freight invoices for payment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Studies with minimum 1 years of experience in Claims or Demurrage
- Working experience with oil trading company is preferred
- Possess good planning and organizing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
