(Japanese Speaking) IT Infastructure Engineer
Job responsibilities:
- Plan, design, execute, monitor, and control the various technical aspect of the Project.
- Maintain both on-premises and Cloud and IT infrastructure, ensuring their smooth operation, addressing any abnormalities promptly.
- Manage or participate in an existing setup or upgrade of system/network infrastructure projects.
- Implementing and maintaining cloud security measures, such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements for data structure, availability, scalability & access.
- Oversee the management of software licenses and intellectual property assets, ensuring suitability and compliance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing Cloud Infrastructure.
- Comprehensive understanding of both on-premises and cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, network, security, data, backup, and applications.
- Knowledge in Windows server OS, Linux OS in a virtual environment would be an advantage.
- Knowledge in VPN, firewall appliances would be an advantage.
- Familiar with Cloud and IT infrastructure operations, including automation, scripting, tuning and optimization.
- Knowledge in network switches/routers would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
- Pro-active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking.
- Business level of fluency in Japanese Language is required to liaise with stakeholders in Japan HQ and customers in Japan.
