Responsibility
- Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.
- Conduct safety observation reports on a regular basis and depending on the length of the project.
- Attend safety walks and inspections before or during each project to analyze safety risks.
- Maintain documentations of the company safety procedures,accidents and related events.
- Create and implement safety plans while ensuring that they are being followed daily.
- Authorized to issue Stop Work Order (SWO), if any site work, process or work area is in imminent danger to workers, the public or pollution of the environment.
Qualifications
- Possess of Bachelor's degree in WSH qualifications, Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health and Certified in Safety Management Officer.
- Good knowledge of WSH Act and other WSH related compliance;
- Possess good leadership, good communication skills, organizing abilities and independent;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel and Power Point.
- Experience of federal, state, and city safety requirements, including OSHA.
- Possess at least 2 years of practical work experience in the field of health and safety in building construction.
