Responsibilities
Cleaning & Housekeeping
- Daily and periodic cleaning of all the interior and exterior surfaces of the premise, continuous cleaning services in frequently used toilets
- and continuous sweeping and mopping-up in busy areas
- Provision of daily and periodic glass cleaning service
- Once yearly cleaning of all the exterior walls, external facade and glass panels
- Quarterly shampooing of all carpeted floors and any extra shampooing service
- Tables shall be cleared after passenger leaves the table,Clearance of garbage
- Cleaning and clearing of floor/ waste traps to prevent foul smells
- Cleaning of staff’s rest room and pantry, and to replenish the glasses and drinking water.
Dining and Kitchen Area / Equipment
- Maintain cleanliness at the bar, in particular, cleaning attention for the sushi and salad bar and beer dispenser.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen equipment, Clean buffet counter warmer, drink chillers, cabinets and floor.
- Clean crockery, glassware and cutlery must be replaced in their designated places in the lounge.
- Kitchen floor shall be kept dry and non-slippery
- Maintenance of stone surface against staining and water penetration
Requirements
- Conversant in English. Proficiency in one or more of the local languages such as Malay, Tamil
- and Mandarin would be advantageous.
- Courteous, pleasant and helpful disposition and enjoy interacting with people.
- Trained in basic greetings and cleaning etiquette
- Report, and handover passengers’ items found in the lounge to Senior Passenger Relations Officer
