Job responsibilities:
- Oversee full spectrum of human resource functions, including manpower planning, manpower budget, recruitment, compensation & benefits, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Lead the HR function and provide leadership in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Handle work passes related issues such as application, renewal, cancellation, appealing and updating personal particulars to MOM etc.
- Assist in tracking and reporting on available grants issued by the government.
- Formulate and implement recruitment strategies and talent management frameworks. Lead the sourcing, assessment, and selection processes, including managing work pass issues for foreign talent.
- Support key compensation and benefit activities such as Salary Increment, Performance Bonus, Promotion and Manpower Budgeting exercise.
- Administer the entire performance appraisal cycle, execute annual increment and promotion cycles, and oversee succession planning initiatives.
- Manage compensation & benefits salary surveys, job matching, and related analysis to support market pricing and market benchmarking exercises;
- Prepare regular HR related statistics and reports for management review;
- Provide advice to employees and managers and manage employee grievances, conduct and disciplines.
- Support employee engagement and welfare activities.
- Manage end of end regional HR operations of a lean team across - Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia, covering staff onboarding and off-boarding, leave tracking, payroll management, labor benefits, and statutory compliance.
Requirement:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiar with Asia labour legislation and with at least 3 years experiences as manager, prerred in manufacturing industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with both overseas and Chinese stakeholders and turn insights into actions.
- Strong leadership and with data-driven and solution-orientated mind-set.
