Job Objectives
The Process Assurance Team is within Group Banking Technology (GBT), supporting bank’s Project, Development and Technology Delivery teams to ensure process compliance to System Development Methodology (SDM) process.
The team acts as an assurance gate for SDM major milestones to ensure entry & exit criteria are met and is responsible to review the quality of the artefacts such as functional & design specification, testing documents and others project deliverables.
This position serves as a Process Assurance Analyst for the software delivery assurance as per the established processes and guidelines, the lead will drive process compliance to all the software releases into production. The lead will also contribute to drive continuous improvements withing Software Delivery Processes.
The candidate must be skilled in verbal and written communication, as the position interfaces directly with senior project managers and delivery managers. The position requires attention to detail and accurately articulating impact in a non-technical and technical manner. Prioritizing tasks and shifting focus under pressure is critical as the team works through various competing high priority projects and releases.
Key Responsibilities
• Independently plan, conduct, and coordinate process assurance assignments, involving waterfall and agile projects. Review progress and evaluates results, which are communicated to the Project Manager and key stakeholders.
• Independently leads and plans interaction with project managers and delivery leads to establish/execute process assurance plans.
• Plans and implements recommendations for major improvements to existing processes and procedures.
Key Requirements
• Degree in computer science/engineering or related disciplines.
• > 3 years of hands-on application development experience in the banking industry, preferably led a development team before.
• Audit / Technology Risk Management experience
• Ability to communicate plans and deliver timely effective information to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
