RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the administration of undergraduate curriculum and manage student enquiries on bidding issues, course progression, etc.
  • Process applications, course worksheets and transfer of credits of outbound students on exchange and external study programmes.
  • Organise, coordinate and participate in events at the School and University level, e.g. Destination SMU, Commencement ceremony, Academic Briefing, Dean's List ceremony, information sessions, etc.
  • Liaise with representatives of student societies and alumni group to provide guidance in budgeting, events planning and claims processing. Events include freshmen orientation camp, Oikos Under the Stars, alumni talks, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to faculty and students in SMU-X overseas courses.
  • Support administrative matters related to Health Economics & Management and Actuarial Science work-study electives.
  • Provide support to teaching assistants and faculty in their logistical needs for e.g. booking of consultation, midterm test venues.
  • Perform other duties as and when assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Diploma.
  • Prior work experience preferably in the education industry.
  • Minimum 4 years work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and spoken English).
  • Resourceful and able to multi-task.
  • Proactive and the ability to take initiative; work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Pleasant personality and strong ability to work collaboratively with others.
