As Australia Country Growth Senior Manager, you will:
- Responsible for Castlery’s Australian sales as well as owning a multimillion dollar marketing budget.
- Create the overall growth strategy for Australia. You will build the one year growth strategy for the market while aligning to Castlery’s 3-5 years focus. The growth plan will cover localised approaches, categories, channels and UVPs with quantified impact.
- Harness customer insights for decision making. You will derive impactful customer insights to inform growth strategy based on existing data, customer research. Identify key audience segments to focus on that will translate into channels, categories, and various teams' initiatives with a quantified approach.
- Understand deeply the market and competitor dynamics. Be on top of market dynamics and competitor news, to adapt our strategy. Understand the customer tastes, retail dynamics, seasonality, important local channels and partnership network.
- Own and influence the business planning and commercial calendar. Own the business planning of initiatives and levers in order to achieve sales. You are able to influence and drive decisions on the commercial calendar with various stakeholders.
- Mange the country performance channel strategy. Own the market sales and marketing ROI outcome. Break down clear targets for different teams, and into operational targets. Possess advanced understanding of how different channels are contributing to the growth strategy.
The Perfect profile:
- At least 7 years' experience in marketing or category management, and at least 3 years of relevant team management experience
- Understands or have experience in the Australian market
- Proven track record in owning multimillion marketing budget. Experience in achieving targets with insights, planning and strong execution.
- Experience in performance or other marketing channels and driving excellence in growing channels
- You possess strategic thinking, you are able to understand the business context and customers well, identify and define key problems to develop clear strategies
- You are curious about customers and are able to draw insights about customers to inform decisions
- Good experience in data and analytics to drive insights and decisions
- Have capabilities in identifying and solving complex problems innovatively, and able to break down and prioritize
- You have a track record of leading some cross-functional projects independently, build processes to collaborate with other teams
- You are confident communicating with senior management teams
- Experience in team management, setting targets and capability training to drive good performance. Experience in coaching managers to perform
