Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Manager with strong experience in managing IT application projects to be part of a leading banking institution.
Mandatory Skill-set
- 9-12 years of experience in the direct management of IT application projects;
- At least 8 years' experience with project management, business analysis in Wholesale Banking environment;
- Good knowledge of Wholesale banking product and processes, Financial market and Treasury;
- Proven track record in delivering and managing the complex banking projects in agile methodology;
- Able to work with external vendors and across diversified teams;
- Process-driven and strong advocate of reporting;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Support business users in process changes when new systems are implemented;
- Possess strong analytical, organizational, and product management skills.
Desired Skill-set
- PMP or Scrum Certified.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, set-up and structure initiatives and projects on people, process and technology;
- Engage in project conceptualization, defining project scope and providing business solutions;
- Prepare and manage work plans, schedules, project estimates/budget, resource plans and status reports on a regular basis;
- Monitor the progress and delivery of change initiatives and project delivery in Asia;
- Responsible for ensuring project delivery on time on schedule and with quality;
- Liaise with other change managers within Asia and Head office for alignment and updates on roadmap, projects;
- Manage the scope change process with identification of risks and issues, and facilitate resolution, mitigation, and prioritization;
- Liaise with stakeholders, providing regular project status update;
- Ensure adherence to schedule and standards by team members and vendors throughout the cycle of the project;
- Collaborate with global and cross functional business and technology partners to develop and implement programs, projects or processes to address current and future business needs.
