Position: Factory Operation Manager (Job ID: 18895)
Job Description:
- Oversee the daily operation and function of the Factory. Enforcing company policies as well as government's law and regulation at all time.
- Manage Factory Supervisor and Factory Workers, take note of their welfare and complaint if any and manage their performance and conduct.
- Manage factory inventory and production and ensure meeting the company’s monthly target include the arrangement for shipment out to our customer.
- Manage quality control on product manufactured and ensure products is kept in the right temperature at all time.
- Manage the maintenance / upkeep of all facilities/equipment in the factory and ensure hygiene and cleanliness of factory environment at all time
- Ensure safely in the factory environment and implementation of First Aid / CPR / Workplace Safety and Health / Risk management of the workplace.
- Liaison with supplier on factory supplies matters.
- Other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned to you from, time to time with your consent.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Food Science / Engineering / Operation Management
- Minimum 3+ years previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, ideally, within a food production environment
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, relevant regulations, health and safety requirements, auditing requirements and relevant legislation
- Experience in LEAN manufacturing and delivering change, as well as implementing continuous improvement
- Strong team leader with a drive to deliver quality outcomes with efficiency and with a passion for continuous process improvement
- Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, problem solving, analysis, decision-making abilities
- Demonstrate ability to lead, train and develop diverse team
- A hands-on leader with a can-do attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Proficiency in Japanese to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders will be plus
- Possesses valid Forklift License
