Job Responsibilities:
- Teach on weekdays, weekends and during school holidays
- Implement instructional activities and provide a positive environment wherein students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process
- Be an inspiring role model in leading students towards their own uniqueness and spiritual growth for their age group, subject area, and/or program classification
- Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds and learning styles
- Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment
- Conduct individual and small group catch up sessions for students in need of extra coaching
- Conduct private consultations for students who have completed the program – mainly addressing issues such as motivation or the applications of techniques
- Follow up on students who have special needs or behavioural issues
- Meet parents to discuss their child’s progress, understanding of techniques and to give individual advice regarding their child’s needs as required
- Increase parent awareness of the student experience
Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Education
- Knowledge in the areas of educational, developmental and/or cognitive psychology
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Subject specialisation in English / Mathematics / Science / Chinese for Primary 6 preferred
- A Creative and Inspiring personality
- Able to commit on weekends
