The Associate Research Coordinator (ARC) will work with the Principal Investigator (PI) and Department of Breast Surgery to support administration of the compliance, financial and various operational aspects of clinical studies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of study operations for clinical studies.
- Take patient consent in clinic, as well as collect tissue and blood samples for clinical study,
- Manage grant coordination and submission and any other duties assigned by PI.
- Setup and maintain the clinical database.
- Collaborate with PI to prepare materials required for institutional review board (IRB).
Requirements:
- Diploma in life sciences or a related field.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy is a bonus (not required).
- 1 year of experience in research-related activities is preferred.
- Able to communicate with research participants.
- Fluent in English and another mother-tongue language
- Good time-management and organisational skills
- Meticulous, fast and accurate in your work.
- Proficient with Microsoft excel/word/powerpoint
- Able to work independently.
