My client is a global leader in developing and delivering automated welding technologies for boiler services, coke drum services, digester Services, heater and furnace service serving the power generation, oil and gas, and industrial infrastructure markets.
We are in search of a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join their team.
As a key player in the Oil and Gas sector, specializing in cutting-edge specialty welding solutions, we are looking for a candidate with sales of Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) who can spearhead regional sales strategies and foster strategic relationships to drive business growth in the Oil Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, and Power Energy industries.
Job Description
- Craft a comprehensive regional sales plan to achieve commercial goals and growth objectives.
- Keep abreast of developments in the oil refining, petrochemical, chemical, waste to energy/power generation markets.
- Cultivate and nurture strategic relationships with key customers.
- Analyze customer needs and identify prospects' interest in our products/services, developing strategies for short-term projects and long-range partnerships.
- Manage the sales funnel, from opportunity creation to facilitating proposals and tender processes.
- Provide intelligence on competitor activities to enhance our competitive edge.
- Deliver impactful presentations to effectively communicate the company's value proposition.
- Act as a representative for the organisation at conferences, exhibitions, and seminars.
- Execute an extensive weekly travel schedule to meet customer meeting targets.
- Serve as an ambassador, maintaining primary regional contact status.
The Successful Applicant
- At least a Bachelor's degree in engineering/business administration or any relevant field.
- Possess knowledge of Oil and Gas processes.
- Have extensive sales and/or key account management training and experience.
- Be able to work flexible hours and maintain an extensive travel schedule (up to 70 percent).
- Demonstrate the ability to read technical drawings and instructions.
- Be customer and service-oriented with strong commercial contract negotiation skills.
- Possess a hunter mentality (including cold calling), along with creativity, ambition, realism, and loyalty.
