About Our Client
Our client is a leading firm, looking to on-board an IT Security Manager. This is a regional opportunity and requires travelling.
Job Description
As the IT Security Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with teams for effective mitigation strategies.
- Providing strategic guidance on tech, cybersecurity, and policies.
- Managing security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and antivirus.
- Leading enhancements in incident response procedures.
- Assessing and prioritizing vulnerabilities based on risk.
- Collaborating globally to investigate and suggest remediation actions.
- Planning and assessing antivirus, firewall, SIEM, and other policies.
- Conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Contributing to security awareness training programs for employees.
The Successful Applicant
As a Successful Candidate, you will have the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity including expertise in areas like Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, or Vulnerability Management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present, liaise with stakeholders
- CISSP/CISM/CISA certified
