This position reports to the Head of the Centre of Labour Information and Analytics (CLIA) and works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners on surveys and statistics, policy research and analytics and commercial consulting projects. The candidate is expected to have interest in the domain areas of business, economics, statistics, manpower and human resource (HR).
Responsibilities
- Research and monitor economic, labour and HR trends and information
- Survey, collect and analyse salary and benefits data to provide valuable insights to HR leaders
- Evaluate and forecast employers’ position on identified labour guidelines and regulations
- Strengthen employers’ policy position on workplace and workforce issues using a data driven approach
- Support the development of models to project and explain future national manpower scenarios, through partnership with academic institutions, tripartite partners and government agencies
- Execute HR projects along areas of salary benchmarking, benefits review, employee engagement and support commercial manpower/HR consultancy projects
- Support the content and delivery of workshops, events and conventions
Requirements
- Degree with a major in Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Business, HR or other related disciplines
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; Job Level / Salary to commensurate with experience
- Have interest in understanding Singapore’s labour market and / or human resource landscape
- Good writing and communication skills
- Experience in the use of Survey technologies, Excel, SPSS, Tableau, Power BI, or any other analytics software would be advantageous.
