Responsibilites:
- Assist the Site Manager / WSHE Officer to identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice in the worksite.
- Assist the Site Manager / WSHE Officer to implement reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice.
- Check Sub-Contractors' work to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations, including the provisions of the WSH (Construction) Regulations.
- Carry out site WSHE programmes, procedures and assist in organising WSHE awareness activities such as tool-box meetings, WSHE orientation, WSHE induction, promotional activities, etc.
- Monitor risk assessment compliance and report to WSHE Officer for any non-compliance.
- Recommend and ensure risk assessment control measures are implemented for all site activities.
- Be prepared to stop work or to notify the WSHE Department in the event of any WSHE deviations.
- Adherence to safety practices.
