Role:
- Able to create project plans with a workable strategy.
- Manage all aspects of the project to ensure it is completed on time, within budget and meet all contractual requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct design review along with chief engineer.
- Able to interpret the Contract and extract all essential information with the project team for the efficient and effective management of the project to meet its objectives.
- Identify all contractual system requirements and all other deliverables and responsible for managing system designs, reviews and all deliverables.
- Handle customer expectations and requirements.
- Sound in risk management, change management and financials.
- Provide regular project reports/updates to customers and stakeholders.
- Perform day to day coordination, risk management, liaison, control and supervision of resources including all project team members, sub-contractors, internal and external project related parties and customers to ensure that the project meets its objectives.
- Monitor all payment milestones to ensure timely billing in accordance to the planned scheduled.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- Preferably with PMP and Prince2 accreditations.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in SI / Automation /Electronics or Mechanical environment is an added advantage.
- Ability to develop and propose tools and/or techniques and/or procedures to allow more effective and efficient running of the project.
- Experience in engineering project and fast-paced product life cycles industries.
- Strong project & people management skills.
- Able to handle team dynamics well.
- Self-motivated and able to leverage on team.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
- Very good knowledge of and ability to use MS Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of people and team development.
